The flushable and biodegradable spunlace nonwoven fabric is a functional nonwoven material commonly used for wet wipe applications.
Good flushability performance is achieved by optimizing the fiber length and entanglement structure of woodpulp and viscose fibers. The combination of plant-based cellulose fibers provides biodegradable characteristics and supports the development of more sustainable wet wipe materials.
The material offers good water absorption and liquid retention performance, which are important properties for wet wipe applications. Its liquid absorption capacity can reach up to 7–10 times its own weight based on test results.
With its designed flushability performance, the material is suitable for applications requiring good dispersibility after flushing. Based on the characteristics of flushable and biodegradable materials, D-TEX has developed a variety of surface patterns to meet different application requirements and market preferences.
