The base material uses long-fibered softwood fluff pulp in roll form, defibrated under controlled shredding energy to ensure low knot content and uniform fiber distribution. Compared with traditional wet-laid paper and tissue, air-laid paper is bulkier, more porous, and softer, offering superior absorbency and dry/wet strength. Technical Insight

In D-TEX’s process, approximately 85% of the composition consists of fiber, while the remaining portion includes binder agents—applied through spray or foam methods.
