of its latest latex-bonded woodpulp airlaid material, designed to meet the growing demand for soft, absorbent, and economical wiping and catering products.
Made from 100% fibered soft wood pulp and bonded through an advanced latex adhesion process, this new material combines textile-like softness with high durability. Unlike conventional tissue or wet-laid paper, D-TEX’s airlaid structure provides excellent bulk, porosity, and strength, ensuring both comfort and functionality in single-use applications.
“We developed this material with our customers’ real-world needs in mind — especially in the food service and hospitality industries,” said a D-TEX R&D spokesperson. “It offers the comfort of cloth and the efficiency of disposable paper, at a highly competitive cost.”
The latex-bonded woodpulp paper is ideal for use as disposable napkins, catering wipes, and general cleaning cloths. With customizable colors, sizes, and embossing patterns, the product can be tailored to diverse markets and branding requirements.
From a technical perspective, D-TEX utilizes a precisely controlled airlaid forming process, where about 85% of the sheet is composed of woodpulp fiber, and the remainder includes binder agents applied by spray or foam. The result is a nonwoven material with enhanced absorbency, low linting, and strong dry/wet performance — ideal for high-speed converting and printing.
This latest launch underscores D-TEX’s continued commitment to sustainable, high-performance nonwovens for industrial and consumer markets. As one of China’s leading manufacturers of woodpulp-based spunlace and airlaid materials, D-TEX continues to expand its product portfolio to serve global customers in cleaning, hygiene, and food service sectors.
