As global demand for high-performance nonwoven materials continues to grow, D-TEX NONWOVENS announces the expansion of its ultrasonic lamination production line, enabling the creation of multi-layer composite nonwoven materials that combine strength, protection, and comfort.
This new production capability allows D-TEX to integrate spunbond (S), meltblown (M), and functional films such as PE or PP into a single, high-performance composite. Using advanced ultrasonic bonding technology, the layers are laminated together without adhesives — resulting in a clean, durable, and eco-friendly material suitable for high-standard industrial and medical applications.
Flexible Multi-Layer Combinations
D-TEX’s ultrasonic composite line supports a wide range of structural configurations, including:
S+M+S — strong and breathable for filtration and hygiene.
S+M+PE+S — excellent liquid barrier performance for medical protective use.
S+PE+S — lightweight and waterproof for industrial and disposable covers.
Each structure can be tailored to meet customer requirements in layer count, material composition, basis weight, and color, offering true flexibility in product design.
Precision Lamination Technology
The upgraded lamination workshop features:
Ultrasonic fusion systems ensuring clean and stable bonding.
Embossed surface patterns to enhance aesthetics and mechanical strength.
Roll-to-roll automatic control for consistent tension and surface quality.
Strict in-line inspection and traceability to guarantee product reliability.
The result is a composite nonwoven fabric with superior uniformity, bonding strength, and cleanliness, fully meeting the standards of medical and industrial protection markets.
Applications Across Multiple Industries
The ultrasonic laminated nonwoven series from D-TEX serves a wide range of markets:
Medical & hygiene: surgical gowns, drapes, isolation wear, bed covers
Industrial protection: cleanroom apparel, barrier curtains, dustproof covers.
Filtration & packaging: air/liquid filters, protective wrapping materials.
Thanks to its advanced material control and customized design capability, D-TEX provides stable solutions for OEM and brand customers in Asia, Europe, and North America.
Commitment to Innovation
“The introduction of ultrasonic laminated composites represents a major step forward in our technical development,” said D-TEX NONWOVENS. “By combining multiple functional layers into a single clean, strong structure, we’re providing global customers with smarter and more sustainable nonwoven solutions.”
With this technology upgrade, D-TEX continues to strengthen its position as a technology-driven manufacturer, offering innovative, high-performance, and environmentally responsible nonwoven materials to meet the evolving needs of the global protection and filtration industries.
